The story of Rustam Vasilev ( updated in 2018).

Doing politics is not an easy thing, especially in Russia. In Russia everything is twisted. Basically in Russia there are no politics. Only Kremlin dictates politics and Kremlin's politics are ugly from the Soviet times. There are no politicians (there are no elections), there are no local authorities - all of them are Kremlin's puppets without their own voice. Everything controlled and financed by Kremlin. People who disagree with Kremlin are marginalized or thrown in prison. The Baltic Republican Party is an independent political movement, that opposing ideologically to the Kremlin criminal regime. We are pro-West, pro-European, pro-American, pro-NATO. We are supporting Human Rights and Democracy. The Kremlin banned us in Russia. I became a leader of Party after a suspicious death of former leader Mr. Sergey Pasko.

My first serious encounter with a Russian system happened in 2009. All Russian (Kremlin) system turned on me with all mighty force, but I did fight back. I survived. Against me were police, FSB, Prosecutor Office, Investigation Office and judges. All if them so called "law", but they are not a law, they are bunch of crooks who are braking their own laws. They are privatized law in Russia.
It was an entrapment against me committed by police, supported by falsification of FSB. There was only one reason for that, it is to stop my political activity by any means necessary.
Short story. I was installing surveillance cameras, working for a chain of supermarkets. Some company director called me and asked to help him to catch a thief, that stealing his money. He asked me to install a camera into his computer speaker. After installation a "company director" showed a badge of police officer. I was charged with selling "special technical equipment ". 4 years of prison for that. The FSB in Moscow wrote a "technical" expertise, that camera in computer speaker is the "special technical equipment ". The only thing nobody in Russia knows what is a "special technical equipment", only FSB could specify and it is a state secret. I was convicted. OK, camera in computer speaker is a "crime" of the century, but who staged that "crime"? The FSB and police staged a "crime". The judge and Prosecutor Office absolutely were not interested in who was the requester of "crime". All that Kremlin circus lasted for 1 year.
Sergey Kirichenko - chief of police ( general). He organized a "operational experiment" (entrapment) against me and appointed a police officers to do it.
General of FSB confirmed a fake "technical expertise" against me. The Persecutor Office supported those generals, braking their own "laws" and charged me. There were about 40 officers of police, FSB ( new KGB) and Persecutor Office against me.
I walked out free from those courts of hell, though I was labeled as a criminal.
I organized throughout the Russia a group of an ordinary people who were unjustly convicted by that strange Russian "criminal" article of a Criminal Codex. They went through a Constitutional Court of Russia, but were unsuccessful (of course). People from "president" of Russia and FSB were present at those court hearings and pressed already controlled judges.
My "criminal" case was dusted away for the 8 years in European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Russia is one of the main sponsor of ECHR. The ECHR is a joke, it is a fiction. They even not looked through the case of Baltic Republican Party banned by Kremlin. I was persistent and the ECHR finally decided, that Russia violated my Human Rights.
Well, I continued with Prussian issue. Through the years promoting East Prussia. Creating new allies with a different political groups at local and international level.
One of the successful move was a campaign for a visa free regime for our region with EU.
Mr. Putin was against it. He was saying, that visa-free regime should be for all citizens of Russia or to nobody (though he was pushing visa free regime for Kremlin's VIPs). Local authorities controlled by Putin kept quiet about visa situation. I started political campaign for facilitation of visa regime. We collected signatures of locals, picketed European consulates and finally picketed in Brussels in front of European Commission and European Parliament. Europeans heard our voice for Freedom. The EU gave a visa-free regime for a citizens of our region). We've been able to visit the EU (part of Poland) without visas. I personally did put Putin's words back to his mouth.
Russian authorities were trying everything to stop me. Prussian Parade were not allowed twice. I was invited for talks in Department E (extremism) of police - a political police which oppressing any political movement. I organized a few public marches in Koenigsberg despite the pressure from Kremlin authorities.

Articles with my name are censored by government. Russian TV even aired a TV documentary against me at federal TV channel, though people like me a taboo at Kremlin's media. Lots of threats and insults throughout the years, but I got used to that. I was fired from my job as a CCTV engineer for my political views, that contrasted with political views of my bosses from Kremlin's "United Russia" party.
(The police and FSB harassing me for a Prussian flag)
Then came an Ukrainian revolution, which I of course supported. Tensions are raised. Kremlin directly supported pro-Kremlin "separatists" in Ukraine with financial, informational and military support. At the same time secessionists inside of Russia are criminalized by a new "law", that Kremlin imposed. 5 years of prison or a big fine for even promotion Self-determination right. The main Human Right, Right for self-determination gone down the drain in Russia. Nations are not allowed to be Free in Russia. Even communists in Soviet Union respected that political right. The Right for self-determination were written in Constitution of Soviet Union.

Then came 11 of March 2014, my political friends installed a German flag at FSB building in Koenigsberg ( Kaliningrad. The FSB and police came to my apartments to arrest me and search apartments. They are failed. The things is I was ready for that. I smashed hard disks and modem of my computer. I did burn any political papers. I took away a SIM card from my phone. I did cut any contacts. I was hiding for a few months, looking from a distance at the fate of my friends in FSB prison. I was the voice of the silenced prisoners about the repression in our region and contacted local and international Human Rights organizations. The FSB was looking for me all that time. It was a constant surveillance by FSB near my home. They were using binoculars, as my neighbors told.  After unsuccessful attempt to find me and arrest me, the FSB even visited my parents. The FSB officer introduced himself as "Yury Yurevich" and showed his FSB card. He told to my parents, that I should stop hiding and they will find me anyway. He left his phone number for me to contact him. I did contact nobody.

I knew about criminal behavior of FSB and Russian authorities and never had any illusions about it. I knew, that this time they will throw me in prison for a long time, even though I committed no crime. There were a choice, end up in Russian prison (as my friends) or move to the West. I did choose Freedom outside of Russia. I am in USA right now.

Update 2018:
The European Court of Human Rights officially admitted, that Russia violated my Human Rights in a bogus "criminal" case against me. I was waiting for that decision for eight years.

In 2017 somebody did put a fire to my apartment back to Königsberg. The fire spread to the neighbors, 10 people were evacuated.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) refused me asylum.  The USCIS officially backed up the Kremlin criminals in my case. They had all the info, but they "found" no harm, no persecution in the past. The USCIS officially saying, that I would not suffer any persecution in the future, if they will deport me to Russia straight to the Putin's criminals ( they are waiting for me). The USCIS started a process of deportation me to anti-American Russia. Me who always advocated American values of Freedom and Democracy.

There are 5 political prisoners ( recognized by a Human Rights organization) in Koenigsberg, four of them for supporting pro-Prussian views. They are in FSB ( new KGB) prisons without a trial since May 2017. Two of my friends were killed for political views while I was safe in USA. Boris Nemtsov was gunned down near by Kremlin. Sergei Pasko - the founder and former leader of Baltic Republican Party, I believe he was poisoned. Just recently Mr. Alexander Zakamsky was found dead while he was in FSB custody in Koenigsberg ( Kaliningrad) after he appealed to the public about torture in prison by FSB officers. Way to go USCIS!

Criminals in authority of Konigsberg and Russia.

Just one day of politics in Konigsberg under the Kremlin's rule.
(from left to right Mikhail Shelkun, Mr Davidov and Maxim Buga)
Here at the photo you could see the unity of people who responsible for braking of Human Rights in Konigsberg. Mikhail Shelkun is "working" in city hall in department that gives permition to political rallies in Konigsberg. There are no Freedom of assambly in Russia, so people like Mr. Shelkun are deciding who allowed to do a political rallies and who is not.
Mr. Davidov is an officer of police, from department "E". The Department "E" (extremism) is a political police in Russia. The Department E organizing persecution of opposition in Russia.
Maxim Buga so called leader of local "cossacks". An affiliated with Russian authority pseudo-military groups of so called "cossacks", controlled and financed by Kremlin. Kremlin using those groups of "cossacks" together with other controlled groups of "bikers" and "soccer fans" in criminal activities against any opposition in Russia. Police is keeping a blind eye on those criminals. They are like Sturmabteilung (SA) in Nazi Germany.
(An organized group of thugs in Konigsberg taking an orders, right before a political rally, ready to beat up any political opposition)
( A group of paid thugs verbaly insulting an opposition)
( group of thugs attacking political activist right in front of police)
The aftermath of those attacks organized by Russian authorities. Political activists ended up in hospital.

Political oppression by FSB in Konigsberg.

A political oppression is going on lately in "Kaliningrad" at a large scale. On 11 March 2014, somebody raised the German flag over garage of FSB (former KGB) in "Kaliningrad" (former German territory). The flag was quickly taken down by guards. The FSB and police detained 4 members of the local political opposition as suspects, Oleg Savvin, Mikhail Feldman, Dmitry Fonarev and Vasily Andrianov.
(Rustam Vasilev, Mikhail Feldman and Oleg Savvin last year)
During those arrests the FSB searched their houses and confiscated their computers and personal belongings. At the same time the FSB was trying to arrest Rustam Vasilev, but they are failed. After a few months of hiding Rustam appeared in USA.
(Rustam Vasilev in USA)
Vasily Andrianov were interrogated for 8 hours by FSB and released later. He was criminaly charged with a possession of firearm cartridges. Pure fake case by FSB. Vasily Andrianov answered with his case against FSB for unlawful arrest and search at his house. After that Vasily were beaten up twice by unknown thugs. Police filed info about those attacks, but doing nothing to find attackers.
(Vasily Andrianov attacked by thugs at political picket in support of Ukraine)
Oleg, Dmitry and Mikhail are still in prison since March without even a trial. They were hunger striking (as no other options left), Oleg lost third of his weight. During that time close relatives of Oleg and Dmitry has died. Political prisoners were not allowed by FSB to attend the funerals. The "Amnesty International" and other organization gave to Oleg, Mikhail and Dmitry status of political prisoners. Mikhail charged by FSB with a possession of bomb substances. Another fake charges by FSB. Oleg, Mikhail and Dmitry filed by Russian authorities to the list of extremists. It means, that all their bank accounts are freezed and they can not get work and money in a future. The Konigsberg's trio facing 7 years in prison.
Russian authorities (including FSB and police) are trying to erase any liberal and democratic movement. Political activists are beaten up multiple times by thugs affiliated with Russian authority. A few activists ended up in hospital.
(Viktor Gorbunov in hospital after attack)
(Ewgeny Grishin lost his vision to one eye after attack)

The local authorities doing nothing about those attacks. The FSB arresting political activists, searching their (and relatives) houses and creating fake criminal cases.
The Human rights degraded in Russia and Konigsberg. Mr. Putin and his criminal gang directly responsible for it. Russia is a criminal state with a criminal authorities. It is not even a state, it is a thugs's territory.
Local Baltic Republican Party banned by Kremlin since 2005.

Freedom to political prisoners in Prussia!

Three men are in detention in Königsberg and could face long sentences for a German flag.
It was in Königsberg early on March 11 that a German flag was modestly placed near by garage of the regional office of the Russian Federal Security Service [FSB].
Three men were arrested and could now face up to 7 years imprisonment.  According to Natalya Zotova writing for Novaya Gazeta, the men are charged with group hooliganism supposedly carried out according to prior conspiracy. The charges, she notes, are the same as those brought against members of the Pussy Riot punk group.
The three political activists – Oleg Savin, Mikhail Feldman and their friend from Moscow Dmitry Fonaryov are in custody in Königsberg. They deny any wrongdoing and have refused to give evidence.
The indictment states that German flag at FSB office incited separatist tendencies and was also “deeply offensive to the political orientation of Russian Federation citizens”. Perhaps the silence from the press in Germany is linked with trying to understand whether it is specifically a German flag that is ’offensive’, or any foreign flag. There are no independent witnesses and no photos, so the FSB can say what they like.  The accusations should, however, be credible. Does German flag not allowed in Russia? What, raising a flag is a criminal offence?

It would be helpful if foreign diplomats and media could seek some clarity from Kremlin or Foreign Ministry representatives. Why are armed terrorists seizing Ukrainian local government buildings and hoisting the Russian flag to be treated as freedom fighters, while three unarmed men in Königsberg are in custody and face a few years in prison for an "act of hooliganism" with a German flag?
The argument that the answer is so clear as to make the question redundant will not wash. The reason why no country will do more than protest over the arrest of three Russian nationals on Russian territory is indeed clear, though not why there has so far been near silence. Failure to do little more than protest when Russia flouts all rules of international law in Ukraine can only strengthen the Kremlin’s view that it can do what it likes ‘in its backyard’. Three men in Königsberg thought that unacceptable. They’re paying for it, but were undoubtedly correct.
Freedom to political prisoners in Prussia!

An anti-German propaganda at one of the Kremlin's TV station.

Anti-German propaganda at Russian TV (Ren TV). The program called "The Fourth Reich". That lie aired throughout Russia. At the 20m00s of that video about Königsberg, our friends, me and even about our celebration of the Silvester in Danzig. My words in an interview they mistranslated on purpose, for their Kremlin`s propaganda. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=g7sisIKLOTE
